If you train to a certain level and stop, that’s as good as you’ll ever be, and that’s without being stressed. But when something bad happens, your best day in combat is remarkably similar to your worst day training.

Accuracy, motor skills, the ability to not sound like you just took a breath of helium, all gone in a split second.
