Good reputation, accurate and I have been tempted by them.
My concern is thinness, it might be too thin for me.
Back when I had a Glock 30, I got to compare it side by side with a 36 and there was a major difference between them, the 30 was utterly comfortable to shoot while the 36 actually hurt.October 9, 2018 at 7:17 pm #70856

The Liberal Democrats have been lying for years.
When have they told the truth?August 26, 2018 at 4:18 pm #70810
Slow is perspective.
The “high velocity” load for the BO is literally going half the speed of my old .220 Swift and not quite 2/3 the speed of the AR/.223 and the .270.
It’s literally going the sae speed as my old .45-70 maxed out.
So slow fits.
That lack of speed means a shorter range and looping trajectory. Same as the AK round essentially, just built for more accuracy.
But out here, that lack of range is a consideration.
As well as the lack of muscle.
The .300 works well on deer and we shall see on antelope. But elk? Not even sure its legal, I am checking on that. For a while, the mid-bore guns will prevail for the bigger game.
Basically I am looking at the gun as an underpowered .30-30 that is really compact if a bit chunky.August 15, 2018 at 10:13 am #70795
She had alluded to something in a PM but no full story.
Since then,it has gone quiet from that direction. You had also gone silent during this period, so it was a lot of guessing going on.August 15, 2018 at 2:47 am #70793
You wouldn’t have heard anything from/about Leopard would you?
Got some information from her on the side a while back that has me concerned with her long absence.August 14, 2018 at 1:14 pm #70789
Good to hear from you P1lgr1m, been too quiet from down there.
Between the land grab and the gun grab its rapidly headed down the rabbit hole.
“South Africa is opening the door for tyranny,” José Niño writes in Gunpowder Magazine. “The
Constitutional Court of South Africa recently ruled that 300,000 gun owners must turn in their
firearms.” That overturned a lower court decision ruling sections of South African gun laws
unconstitutional. And that means gun owners who “failed” to register are now required by
“law” to surrender their firearms to the authorities.
Such a requirement could not come at a more dangerous time. Not only is land being taken from
whites, the political sentiment and rhetoric in the country is heating up to the point of
“We are cutting the throat of whiteness,” Marxist/racist Economic Freedom Fighters leader Jacob
Malema told a cheering crowd in a packed Johannesburg arena. He demanded removal of a mayor
because he is white and declared, “Angry white people can go to hell.”
“We are not calling for the slaughtering of white people, at least for now,” Malema declared
ominously. That leaves, “when we think we can” open.”
Last I heard, the Boers were outnumbered 11:1 at best. Which means that no matter what, there will never again be a fair election in ZA. Its a democracy after all.
Keep your powder dry and handy.
With 50+ people getting murdered a day, its already ugly down there.August 12, 2018 at 6:04 am #70774
The media has always joined the left.
They just stopped hiding it.August 8, 2018 at 12:00 pm #70769
There have been a number of good articles on the organic prepper website, Daisy Luther has had Selco on to do a number of articles that are well worth reading.August 6, 2018 at 8:30 pm #70767
Same here , many gut feelings . All generally point to the left and growing police state . Trump is the wild card they didn’t plan on , and for us on the ground , a sigh of relief . The question is , for how long . Wheels are in motion , none of the ideas are positive that we have come up with . Most seem to point to freedom loving men to have to fight , and not with words either . We came up with thinking their are two major factions . One Marxist left as you say , and the other Fascist governmental /LE/Alphabet soups , both with their own ill agendas , both Constitution hating , both despise the liberty of free men , both attempting to gain control over the other at the expense of the nation and its people . It kind of feels like that calm beach , watching the tide go out ( wayyyyyyyy out ) , before the tsunami comes rolling in .
Part of the problem I have with this is that the “Leftists” are now the facists.
Merriams-Webster defines it as this:
: a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
Google, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, etc., all are now the facists, leading the charge.
Tennessee, who has been running Tennessee for a century or better? The Police didn’t create the situation, in many respects they are just as much a victim of the society that raised them and created the laws for all.August 6, 2018 at 7:46 pm #70766

Not surprised, as I recall, the Egyptians were more than a little annoyed with the mooselim bruddahood a while back.

That spinning sound is my Grandfather in his grave.
After his time in Korea, he was a rabid anti-communist.
The look on his face in the picture taken on Pork Chop Hill says it all.
The commies are at it again.August 2, 2018 at 11:40 am #70748
Much like the two California option, where “conservative” western Cali is turned into a native controlled buffer zone between the leftist area of the coast and the rest of the Trump nation.
The call to steal property legally owned and give it to those who have no legal right or ownership of the property.
Long ago I pointed to South Africa and Rhodesia as examples of the future, today we see that lunacy in our own country. The parallels are disturbing.
Our media won’t cover SA, Zim, Venezuaela, or the other failures in Communism/Socialism because its too critical and introspective of what they want.
