Alright this was a server problem. One temporary file got way too big and slowed everything else down. Found the file and deleted it and made sure it won’t get that big again. This affected the whole server and all sites I have on there. Sorry for this. Terrible timing too because Im just in transit to Croatia to meet Selco and the others for the course. :X

Because it is. This is NOT the new system. I just separated the old site from the forum for now because they were one before (that means the whole blog, membership area and more). Right now this here is just the forum.
So it saves resources. This is just for the next few days until we make the big move to the new system.
The system we use here is just not really the best for such a big community and lacks some community features that are great. The new system will have all this and then some. I will also buy the gallery addon so we can have easy user galleries for photos and more. Much better.

Thanks guys! I just moved everything to this new location and separated the system so people will have to login again. This is just a temporary solution.
I have found a great new community software ( https://www.woltlab.com/wbb/ ) that also works awesome on mobile devices, has great security and more but I need to find a developer who can help move all the content over because this is not so straight forward.
This is a temporary solution for now before we move finally to the new kickass system.

Awesome guys! Really happy to hear this. Yes, we will only go for something that can import all users and discussions. We will also probably host it on a subdomain such as talk.shtfschool.com and I will make sure it is tablet and phone friendly. Will get to work on this in the coming days!

Ok thanks. I will redo a lot in the coming weeks here on the site. Maybe even add a complete new forum system to make things better to maintain.

Yeah sorry guys, after the system upgrade a few days ago we had lots of automatic spam bots signing up. I needed a way to stop this. For now I disabled the spam blocker. Sorry if this caused any inconvenience but it was necessary.
