Mid-40’s former police officer, current gunsmith and Scoutmaster.

I’ve been prepping in one form or another for three decades now. Sometimes my preps have been thin, sometimes thick, much depends on where I was both literally and figuratively.

Several times I have dipped into my preps, during lean times both mine and others. Other times I ran my stores down before moving, both to save money on food and so not to have to move as much.

We’re all here to learn and share, so let’s share our successes and failures. That way we all learn something.

Prepare for the unknown by studying how others in the past have coped with the unforeseeable and the unpredictable.
