The United Nations Security Council will meet for an emergency session to discuss the escalating crisis in eastern Ukraine at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday.

This a probably a set up for invading and taking control of the remaining portions of the Ukraine. Nato will be forced to make more ridiculous sanctions. Russia and China have been working toward replacing their use of the dollar and will use the sanctions as leverage.

When they quit using the dollar and China demands repayment of our debt, we will be in shtf.

Should be interesting to see what could come out of this, but, as it usually goes with the U.N., it’ll just be all talk.

Still though, something to keep an eye on. Just takes one strong spark, or a series of smaller ones, to set off the powder keg.

The Chinese and the Russians will ask first for the interest rate to go up, that they will not lend any more money. So when interest rate goes up the debt goes up at a faster rate. We may see 20 T by the middle of 2015,

The Chinese and the Russians know that. They can ask for all there money back but the Chinese want to really take us down to the point of no return. Pulling the interest rate up will kill us slowly and it will be painful.

This is also the communist way which is to starve us to death slowly, we will only be think of food. Were are we going to get our next meal.

We will see what will happen!

We will just shoot off our mouth and put on a big show ….the United States has not won a real war sense 1945 . We have incompetent leadership , we are over extended ( too many bases where we have no business being ) , Hell , we had to ask the Russians for safe passage for our exit of Afghanistan …..12+ years of conflict with nothing to show for it , we lost in Vietnam , and Korea . When China got directly involved there , it was a route back to the present border . We seem to have too short a memory about things . Considering that Russia is physically on the same continent as the western Europeans , I dont think they will be so keen to have to fight the bear directly . Ever wonder why the US uses civilian transport ? the reason is that during the cold war , they did a study on all out war with the Soviet Union vs. NATO . In all scenarios , NATO lost !!!!!!!! the reason was that they couldnt move anything fast enough or in any serious numbers with military transport alone . Now we have the King of the east and the king of the orient shaking hands against us ………………..if we are arrogant enough to think we can prevail against both………..we deserve what we get . Sad thing is , the great unthinking masses are fed as much bullshit as they can eat ….and they have a voracious appetite . Ukraine is none of our business , the Russians are in the right on this one . The Kiev government is illegitimate , they took the power by force of arms , they are also neo -nazi’s politically , we seem to have ignored that . We have a bad habit of doing that , remember Sadam Hussein ? we made him what he was , then had to go clean up the mess we created without taking any responsibility for creating the Frankenstein in the first place . Sorry for the rant , but we are as dirty as it gets and I’m getting real tired of us taking the place of the Soviet Union , we should be better than that . Just Sayin

Yep. Ukraine/Russia developments are worth following particularly in how it might speed up efforts to further weaken the ‘petrodollar’ (by China/Russia).

The funny thing about the petrodollar is that at some point , it will have to be abandoned anyway , as the amount of oil is a finite thing , and sooner than we realize at present consumption .
