State Representative Paul Berch (Progressive Democrat, NH) recently said the following in a hearing concerning the judicial process:

“The purpose of a criminal trial is not to do justice. The purpose of criminal trial is to see if the state has proven a case beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Well! Thank you for clarifying that, Representative Berch. I’ve often referred to defense attorneys like you as “co-perps.” And we wonder what’s wrong with our judicial system ….

"Ye hear of wars in far countries, and you say that there will soon be great wars in far countries, but ye know not the hearts of men in your own land."

Sort of like the Roman definition of an ally is ” Somebody we dont have to fight TODAY ” .
The fact that we have for profit prisons in this country should be a red flag . How do you fuel the system ? by arresting people . What country has the highest incarceration rate in the world ? the US (SR ) .

The attitude of most professional politicians seems to be, “If I can get away with it, it’s not a crime.”

    Cry, "Treason!"
