This is a threat that has been overlooked for years. All chemical plants that are close to cities need to be looked at and harden.

    Good luck with that one.

Anybody else remember the recent missing chemicals that ended up in the Elk River? That was simply a leak from an old tank, what would have happened if someone had done something deliberately?

Or how about all those propane/gasoline storage tanks in various locations?
Living in a refining area, they’re out there.

The targets are only limited by ones imagination and time.

Who knows, they may even already work there.

The list of potential targets is endless. It doesn’t seem we can secure them all, especially if the terrorists try to plant members of their groups in such facilities as employees. Think of how many cases there have been of Chinese who have been caught stealing secrets from their employers. If the Chinese govt can be successful planting their agents in targeted facilities, we have to assume that terrorists can do the same.
