. Does the rest of the world have to descend as far as Zimbabwe before they figure it out?
That’s a rhetorical question correct?July 21, 2016 at 1:25 pm #49556
I dunno – maybe not. We may find that’s exactly what will happen, given the lack of media coverage, the general lack of accurate reporting, the lack of accurate teaching of history, and the collective severe case of HUAL (head-up-and-locked) syndrome in the world today.September 3, 2016 at 12:48 am #49882
To our friends down in SA, how are you doing? What is happening? As noted in the past the US media doesn’t pay much attention to SA given the reality runs counter to the narrative of our politically correct elite. I hope you are all safe.September 29, 2016 at 4:22 am #50060
It’s been over three weeks, and no reply to MountainBiker’s attempt to check on our friends in SA – very concerning. I checked Cathy Buckle’s page for an update to get at least some idea what might be happening at least nearby, and it’s beyond grim – yet I have seen absolutely nothing in our media about it. For those interested:
Particularly, check her 16 September letter.
I note we haven’t heard from Greece either, nor Forum members in some of the more northern European and Scandinavian nations. Also equally concerning. We think it’s bad here (and it is), but relative to other nations, we’re still far behind in dire conditions here in the U.S.September 29, 2016 at 12:08 pm #50063
No American news outlet, including Fox is truly going to cover the failure in Southern Africa.
The failure of zim and ZA despite the victory of democracy (One man, one vote) is something that can’t be allowed to get out, by TPTB as they had much to do with creating the situation over there.
For various reasons we will leave that alone.
Kommie Zim has a history of not allowing information about the real state of the economy, the availability of groceries, etc., out to the world. It would show the failure of Komrade bob, and the complete corruption of the .gov there.
And anyone who thinks that what’s happening there isn’t a complete failure is deluding themselves.
Look closely at Southern Africa.
Look closely at Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit.
When the comparisons are made, the similarities noted, a new perspective will be had.
I have a feeling that many of our foreign friends are self-censoring.
With what is happening, certain websites, certain knowledge is dangerous, this one included.
And while we are paranoid about the NSA, there are places where that’s comparably nothing.
Best hopes and wishes for our brethren in foreign lands, I’m afraid they will need all they can get.September 29, 2016 at 1:09 pm #50064
Probably the only thing that isn’t amazing to me about all this is that Cathy Buckle hasn’t gone the way of so many Clinton enemies. I noted in one of her recent letters that she actually traveled OUT of Zimbabwe and was able to get back in successfully to continue her ‘subversive’ writing. And as an outsider only looking in from a far distance, it’s truly puzzling that she would even consider going back in ….
The silence from Leopard (and others) is a growing concern. Obviously, we hope they haven’t gotten to her and her child.September 29, 2016 at 7:02 pm #50065
Letting Buckle back in only makes sense, first because of the income she brings through her writing.
Secondly, as only a semi-subversive, she’s easier to control “in country” rather than as a refugee elsewhere.
As to why return, any number of reasons, but the first is always, “this is home”. Not getting run off by a pack of animals is another.September 30, 2016 at 8:13 am #50066
I’m around, but not as often as normal, we are keeping VERY busy just now with new projects here at the school. I’ll try and write a bit more after the weekend about how things are going here…!
I just drop Leopard a message asking how she is. Will let you know as and when I get a reply…
Stay safe out there, this year is getting more and more ‘interesting’ for sure…

Training – and to really know your partner. Very sadJanuary 16, 2017 at 7:26 pm #50972
One never knows for sure whose side one’s “colleagues” are on. There is fundamental evil growing in power and scope – and surprises are likely in store in many nations in the near future. Thanks for the reminder.January 17, 2017 at 9:43 am #50984

While I am not sure what can be done to better protect farms, it is not in the country’s interests to have agricultural production go down as a result of people being too afraid to farm. SA has enough problems without adding that to the list too.January 17, 2017 at 7:07 pm #50993
it is not in the country’s interests
Just the point – that’s a smoke screen and diversion. It’s part of the brilliance of the plan. We’re sucked into trying to make sense of things that are nonsensical. Total time waster and just what they want. The people behind these things (not necessarily the ones doing the actual farm attacks – they’re just the “useful idiots”) fully understand the “logic” behind the Cloward Piven strategy and the 3/4 page final chapter of Communist Manifesto. (Don’t pay any attention to the word “Communist,” whether upper or lower case. That’s also a smokescreen word designed to divert us, whether in action or in discussions.)
We’re up against fundamental evil embodied within people we sometimes call the “dark state,” among other terms. And it is bent on exactly the thing with which Marx and Engels ended their work. There is no point in applying logic to it, because our logic will never penetrate the minds of those involved in the Marx/Engels plan. The plan is very simple. It is summed up extremely well in just two of the final eight sentences of the “Manifesto”:
In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things. … They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions.
(Again, just don’t get caught up in the word “Communist.” It’s another brilliant and intentional smokescreen word designed simply to distract.)
Read the quote above again – that’s what it’s about, and it’s being played out exceptionally well throughout the world, whether in SA, Ferguson, Missouri, eastern Ukraine, Philippines, or with illegal migrants in Europe and elsewhere. When Marx and Engels said “all existing,” they meant “all existing.” And a “forcible overthrow” isn’t hyperbole. The rational, halfway decent world is up against highly intelligent, highly organized, and single-mindedly dedicated people who truly do understand what Marx and Engels were really doing with the Manifesto. Few of the millions that have read (and even studied) it understand it, however.
Anyone who truly understands that last 3/4 page chapter of the Manifesto understands what’s happening today, 168 years later. Most “socialists” and “communists” think the first three chapters are what it’s all about, and are blindly sucked in as “useful idiots.” This is literally a struggle for the survival of individual liberty and ultimately our lives.July 13, 2017 at 2:08 am #52092
Interesting, the response from GS shows 8+ hours ago, but a January date.
I will say, I doubt this would have happened in the pre-’92 SAPS.
Training has obviously gone the way of the dodo, and common sense.
Prayers for his family.July 13, 2017 at 2:51 am #52093
WB, I did indeed create a post 8+ hours ago, but it’s disappeared (yet again). I’ve had this happen probably close to a dozen times now on this web site. Somebody apparently doesn’t like my posts. What you see above really was posted in January. I just came looking for the South Africa thread today because of some brand new news pertaining to the Chinese having established their first-ever foreign military base. While it’s not in South Africa, it’s at least on the continent (Djibouti), right in the middle of a hotbed area. I provided a link that I’m not going to bother to try to find again in which a Chinese official was quoted – in their own news outlet – as saying, “It’s not like we’re trying to take over the world,” or something extremely close to that. :-/ And these are the people that Trump hopes will help “fix” NK – while they just ramped up trade with NK by 40%? And now they’ve created a military base on a whole different continent – Africa – on top of their heavy involvement/investment already with SA. Obviously folks in Africa aren’t heeding any warnings to beware of Chinese bearing gifts….
Let’s see how long THIS post stays up. I’m about ready to just give up here.
