I just purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield .45 ACP + 4 additional 7 round mags. I have to take it to the range to see how it handles. Anyone here owns one or knows of someone that owns one? Looks good and feels great in my hands.

I have not been on here for a long time, since Trump became President I have had so much work that I have not had time.

Good reputation, accurate and I have been tempted by them.
My concern is thinness, it might be too thin for me.
Back when I had a Glock 30, I got to compare it side by side with a 36 and there was a major difference between them, the 30 was utterly comfortable to shoot while the 36 actually hurt.

Yes it is a little thin but I am using it as a carry gun so it is very easy to carry with the power of my Colt .45 which is to big to carry. I have been carrying a 9mm but feel it maybe not have the stopping power of a .45.

I am taking it to the range so will post an update on how comfortable it is.
