    Nice guns wildartist! I bought my AR chambered in Wylde as well. I think it’s a good way to go.

    The sig mcx Mateen used had a 1 x 7 twist rate. I’d that’s why he selected it instead of an AR.

    How do you know why he made his choices? Did you read a report stating the weight of his bullets. If he wasn’t shooting anything over 65gr it wouldn’t make any difference. At the distance he was shooting bullet stabilization is a non factor. What ever the deciding factor was it isn’t important. He could have killed more people with a can of gasoline. His weapon is not the dangerous part, he was the dangerous item.

    Most AR’s today come as a 1-7″.

    Twist means essentially zero at point blank distance.
