    For the aging Baby Boomer’s and old soldiers here, I thought you might enjoy reading the story of Samuel Whittemore who though 80 old (this account says 81) did his part on April 19, 1775, the day of the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World”. After killing 3 Redcoats he was shot in the face at point blank range, knocked in the head with a musket, and bayoneted 13 times. And he survived for another 18 years. They made them tough back them.
