This is what happens in countries were the people do not have a right like we( 2nd Amendment) only criminals, gangs, terrorist and drug dealers have guns,

You mean … those countries are like the rougher neighborhoods in almost all US big cities?

Yes LT in the US the big cities are in liberal gun control states so yes. Brazil has gun control but the criminals always have guns.August 15, 2016 at 1:50 pm #49739
“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
– Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776August 15, 2016 at 1:57 pm #49740
74, That is a great quote and I just posted it in my Facebook page so that everyone that I know can read it.August 15, 2016 at 6:53 pm #49741

If said, “I’m shocked,” you’d know otherwise. When you can’t exterminate your enemies by force (because they are too well defended) you scream at them about how vicious they are for maintaining their defenses. Strangely, that seems to shame many of them into allowing themselves to be collectively and individually attacked as a display of “fairness.” The Soros group (including Commander Zero, the Dragon Lady, and the “popular” media) is winning — all the more reason to prepare.

I did a project in Puerto Rico several years back , there are basically two sections of San Juan that are ‘ safe ” for tourists , Condado and Old San Juan . In order to get to Old San Juan ( which is really cool ) , you need to take a cab , as they are not joined . You COULD walk there to save cab fare , but you have to pass through a section that is not ‘ safe ‘ . One guy on our crew did just that ………….he got mugged , they took everything he had on him , but his back fillings . Moral of the story ? You spins the wheel and take your chances , if you decide to go out on your own , knowing in advance that its not the best idea ……….if you do so , you only have yourself to blame if things go bad . Brazil is a Sh*t hole , its famous for crime and murder ……….they shouldnt be all that shocked .August 15, 2016 at 10:11 pm #49746
Tolik, They did take a cab but still got stopped by three criminals dressed as cops. So Brazil is a real sh*t hole full of criminals all armed.August 16, 2016 at 12:37 am #49747
If they were any worse , they would be Somalia . But they still have some sort of government in place , or it would truly be Somalia .August 16, 2016 at 12:53 am #49748
One of the main problems in Brazil is the Socialist government and the gun control laws. If the people there had the right to own and carry guns these criminals would think twice. Your are right it is a Somalia type of country. If you watch the games on TV you see the drivers pool which is greener then many rivers or the Everglades.August 16, 2016 at 1:07 am #49749
Hello all. Brazil was a cesspool in the early 80’s when kast there on business…n there is no way Rio could have gotten any better given the enormous problems I saw, huge n growing population n the culture. It was, in many resoects, to me at least, like visiting Sodom and Gammorah. Sorry if spelling off. How stupidly, clueless Americans can be to think they are just on an adventure in another place shown on Instagram..n that somehow what they wud expect in the US they cud expect there. If I were an Olympian, n decided to actually participate in the games in that fetid, over-populated, awful place complete with horrible water, favalas that are scarey 2 see even fm a fistance, people thinking nothing of walking ard almost buck naked, corrupt givt, body parts washing up on beaches, rain forests being decimated…wtf? Why any surprise/discussion? Truly . We carried frozen oj concentrate out of there on the ships n cheap foreign cars and such in…
Horrible place. Hard to find a ship’s Captain willing to go in there…corruption ramoant. No way cud 30 yrs even have imo r I ved it imho was do bad. Take a cab at night, be even out at nite there..sheer stupidity. There I feel better gor my rant.August 16, 2016 at 5:30 am #49750
Hello Tweva. Glad to see you again!
Brazil sounds like the ghouls’ paradise our Glorious Leader, his mentor, Ayres, and his sponsor, Soros are halfway through creating here. Should they complete it, the decivilized will be barbecuing the animals in the zoos, and boiling their own babies.
