To call students home mid-semester is extremely telling, yet the mass media is more or less ignoring the story.October 14, 2016 at 7:08 pm #50125
Add to that, the following:
With diplomatic relations between Moscow and Washington at their lowest point since the Cold War, turning on Russian television can be an alarming experience. For the past month, Russian media outlets have been punctuated with reports asking people whether they are ready for nuclear war.
“If it should one day happen, every one of you should know where the nearest bomb shelter is. It’s best to find out now,” according to one particularly fevered report on the Russian state-owned channel, NTV.
Russia’s main current affairs show, hosted by a presenter known by critics as the country’s propagandist-in-chief, recently spent two hours warning that Russia would defend itself with nuclear arms.
“We’ve had it with American abuse over Syria,” the show’s host, Evgeny Kiselyov, told his audience.
. . .
Even more bluntly, Russia announced this week it was moving nuclear-capable ballistic missiles into its Northern European enclave, Kaliningrad, putting them within striking distance of Western capitals.
As the article points out, this is also quite possibly “just” posturing, and setting up some boundaries ahead of the selection of a new U.S. President.
Who knows? ….October 14, 2016 at 9:23 pm #50126

All RT accounts closed in ukOctober 17, 2016 at 9:00 pm #50149
All RT accounts closed in uk
Put this on the table top with the other pieces of the world puzzle, and the picture is becoming more and more clear. Deutsche Bank? All but toppled. Russia’s posturing with its warnings to citizens to return home and also be prepared for nuclear war (not that it necessarily means we’re close – just the posturing is enough to say it’s getting downright serious). Philippine President Duterte is getting in bed with China (much to their delight). All weak cooperation with Russia evaporated in Syria. We have a lame duck President with no international favors to call in after alienating any allies we once had. The “stronger” US economy is smoke, wires, and mirrors. Hillary blames Russia for the hacking, saying they’re trying to help Trump win (which is a way of admitting the strength of the hacked material), while Wikileaks says, “Julian Assange’s internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party.” (Wikileaks just announced it was Equador! I wonder who got to them and how.)
It would appear that a whole lot is about to topple, a massive amount of which will come as a complete shock to the American people (and most of the world for that matter) if for no other reason than the combination of poorly educated populations and little to no media coverage of these events.October 17, 2016 at 10:51 pm #50154October 18, 2016 at 1:38 am #50156
Looks like Barky’s main work (destabilizing and downgrading the USA) is just about done. Despite the doubts so may many have had, he was indeed, the man for the job.

Putin may be a bully and a blowhard.
Zero is certainly an idiot.
Lots of saber rattling going on.
Everyone seems to be trying to find out who had the biggest codpiece.
But do you really think these morons are ready to go full on nuclear?
None of them got where they are by being that stupid.
