As I watch and listen to Commander Zero, I feel the need for a shower.
This moron could replace syrup of ipecac, with just his words.
Lies, damned lies and more lies.
I am reminded of words the late Col. Jeff Cooper said regarding the 1994 Slime Bill and background checks and waiting periods.
I am probably misstating the quote, but not the intent.
“Pass all the laws and background checks you want, I’ve got mine”.January 5, 2016 at 5:32 pm #46474
“Lies, damned lies and more lies”
My thoughts exactly. I expect he lied about what is in his EO as well. We turned him off after claiming a 40% drop in crimes due to background checks in CT. The good thing is he drove another nail into Hillary’s campaign coffin. Wish I had bought stock in S&W and Ruger a few days ago.January 5, 2016 at 6:25 pm #46475
The dictator king talked more lies today. He even tried to cry! WOW! These socialist goals are to slowly take out the 2nd Amendment one law at a time. We need a Republican in the White House and I do not care which one. Hilary has to be stopped period.January 5, 2016 at 7:46 pm #46477
I honor of the President’s speech today, I went out and bought a new rifle. It was a small gesture to be sure, but when I told the guy at the gun store the reason I was buying it, he was laughing so hard he cried. Says he is sure business will be booming again, like it does every time El Presidente opens his mouth.
Free: Appreciate the sentiment on the Republicans, but I don’t trust those bastards anymore than the liberals and socialists. They will say one thing and then do another when in office.January 5, 2016 at 7:54 pm #46478
In honor of the Commi in chief , I ordered a 4×6 Confederate flag , not the cheap printed nylon type , but a 100% cotton sewn type .January 5, 2016 at 8:26 pm #46479
Funny, I bought a new rifle as well, but I jumped the speech in case prices go up. I bought mine yesterday and a scope today.January 5, 2016 at 9:32 pm #46480
Good thing you did , I think I have enough firearms for now , only thing I want at the moment is perhaps a decent Lee Enfield . Have a Mosin , its fun for target shooting , and the Enfield is a fun shooter as well . A friend of mine had one he used for deer hunting in the mid west .January 5, 2016 at 9:52 pm #46481
I am also good with the weapons I have. So I am going to spend more on ammo. Need more .308 and shot gun ammo.January 5, 2016 at 10:00 pm #46482
I filled the last hole in my inventory. I’ve been analyzing the offerings for a solution a few months. It was time to do it or forget it.

We had an entirely unique experience watching that “event.” We were in a restaurant, and were far enough from the TV that we could not quite read the closed captioning. What we caught appeared to be the Q/A afterward. It was absolutely stunning watching how infuriated he appeared for a very extended period of time, and then what appeared to be TEARS! We just got back home and haven’t seen a re-run of the spectacle, so we have no idea what was up with the theatrics, but my immediate comment with the tears part (assuming that four of us were correct in what we were witnessing) was, “I wonder who taught him to do THAT on demand!”
The language that was wanting to come out of my mouth was not suitable for any company, let alone a nice peaceful restaurant – but DARN was it close! All I could think about was that radio station’s call letters: WPOS.
Actually, I don’t think I even want to know what his comments were. I don’t want to throw up that otherwise decent lunch. Surely I already know the general nature of them. I pity those of you that suffered through the verbiage. But believe me – watching ONLY his facial expressions during it, especially with the tears, and when he started wagging his finger in the air, was ALMOST worth watching. He truly looked like he was coming unglued. If it was in fact a Q/A session after the speech, I suspect we were witnessing the true narcissistic personality disorder coming out full bore. And in case anyone is not familiar with what a narcissistic personality disorder is, be aware that it’s truly one of the most dangerous. Most people know that antisocial personality disorders are really bad folks, but most people have no idea just how dangerous a real NPD really is or can be, when crossed. They’re capable of anything when seriously challenged, and the more intelligent they are, the more dangerous.
If you DO need to lighten up after listening to him, go find a tape of it somewhere and watch him with the volume off, once he gets heated up. It’s almost funny (if you can forget what he actually said). I’m truly hoping some of that WAS genuine emotion, because it means he is getting closer to becoming unglued. He may be more unpredictable, but he’d also be much more prone to making “mistakes.” I’d LOVE to see him come unglued and start making some BIG mistakes, personally. He might actually become vulnerable then.

Thats what I like about Putin , he isnt very emotional , he just pretty much says what he needs to say , in a matter of fact way .January 5, 2016 at 11:22 pm #46492
I just watched the whole speech with the volume on and I must say it was one of his better performances. Tears on cue and everything. I don’t doubt but that the faithful came away thinking he actually gives a crap. In case anyone is interested he left out any reference to his Administration’s gun running to the Mexican drug cartels or to the Jihadis over in the MidEast. Maybe he’ll include that in his next speech. I’m not savvy like GS on the correct psychology terminology, but I do agree that the man is dangerous.January 5, 2016 at 11:35 pm #46493

And you don’t have to know the first thing about the diagnostic terminology and descriptions that come out of a book the mental health field uses, either. Common sense and three numbers in your IQ (100 is just average) are more than enough to see the obvious – except for the brainwashed, or similarly mentally disordered. Just be aware that there are formalized diagnoses for just about everything (mostly label-making for purposes that are NOT in peoples’ best interests), and Obama appears to clearly fit into what used to be known as “Cluster B” personality disorders (don’t know if that term is still used in the brand new version of the label-making book, known as DSM5 – I finally escaped from that world still with my own sanity). Cluster B disorders contain two of the most dangerous types. And we’ve got plenty of intelligent people here in the Forum with good common sense. That’s all that’s needed to adequately assess the man. Beware.

Nah, he’s just pathological like his American counterpart. And like Obama, he learned how to turn on the tears when needed for effect. Obama only wishes he could be the American Putin (and keep getting more terms in office).
