Welcome! Please introduce yourself? (Name, age, gender, location for example)
Michael, 43, Male, Northern California
Since when are you into survival and preparedness and what made you get into it?
2 years, I met someone who opened my eyes. I had been aware for some time but had not had the kick in the pants this person provided.
Why is survival and preparedness important or interesting for you? What scenario are you preparing for?
Survival and preparedness are not interesting to me, I would much prefer to live in a world were I don’t have to worry about these things but now back to reality. I am preparing for multiple scenarios, I live in a very active earthquake region and that is one, I also live in liberal lah lah land and have had two fairly major towns (100,000 souls plus) that are very close to me that have gone bankrupt and with that they slash the police budget and with that crime goes through the roof and so on, and if those are not enough I’m fairly confident that Barry Hussien is intentionally trying to destroy our economy (Cloward Piven Strategy) and with that we all know what will happen. Sorry to ramble but you asked!
How would you describe your prepping / survival philosophy? What matters for you?
Guns, Ammo, Water, Food and more Guns……………
Do you have some favorite quotes or words of wisdom you like?
“One legislator accused me of having a nineteenth-century attitude on law and order. That is a totally false charge. I have an eighteenth-century attitude. That is when the Founding Fathers made it clear that the safety of law-abiding citizens should be one of the government’s primary concerns.” Ronald Reagan
You are dying and have 30 seconds left, what do you do or say?
I look to my right and tell my wife that I love and adore her, for probably the second or third time today.July 22, 2014 at 8:09 am #19594

He was a customer of mine and like I mentioned I was somewhat aware but he introduced me to a number of different alternative websites. SHTFplan was the first and that is actually how I found this site when I read there top 50 prepper website blog and this is one of the sites listed needless to say I signed up for the course last night. Being introduced to alternative media was the kick in the pants. I don’t listen to the main stream talking heads anymore.July 22, 2014 at 9:23 pm #19681
Welcome! Good to see you escaped the mainstream mind warping media! Sorry you live in Liberal Lunatic Land. I personally feel your pain, living in NY.July 23, 2014 at 9:25 pm #19904
Michael – again, glad to see you here. Lot’s of good info to be had and lots of pretty smart members. What’s the next duty station? Anyway, look forward to seeing you input as you feel inclined.
Semper Fi, K
Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property... mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.
