Welcome! Please introduce yourself? (Name, age, gender, location for example)
My nickname is Aquawrench. I’m 50+ y/o guy from Tampa Bay Florida.
Since when are you into survival and preparedness and what made you get into it
More and more into it as I see our communist president make moves for his power play. Well read enough on communism to know they are about to take over the world via economic collapse of the USA.
Why is survival and preparedness important or interesting for you? What scenario are you preparing for?
I think a likely scenario is where an EMP is used to knock out the power and cause martial law. Then come the United Nations and Chinese troops. No civilization for a couple months. Then a round up of pre targeted opposition leadership. They will reorganize the world economy with all currencies equalized. The dollar will be worth one sixth what it is now. They will then electronically tag the survivors for govt rations and new order citizenship.
How would you describe your prepping / survival philosophy? What matters for you?
Staying out of the way and being self sufficient.
Do you have some favorite quotes or words of wisdom you like?
P.S., Duck! from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
You are dying and have 30 seconds left, what do you do or say?
Into your hands I commit my spirit.
May 12, 2014 at 10:31 pm #13546Welcome AquaWrench, I am in a City called Coral Gables, Florida, next to Miami, Florida. The EMP is what I am thinking too! When they know that an economic collapse is close they may do a false flag EMP attack.
May 12, 2014 at 10:57 pm #13551Not sure if it will be an EMP but it is certainly one of the false flags they might use! Economic collapse is certain. I also agree with you on the use of foreign troops (I sure hope I’m wrong).
Welcome to the forums, I’ve learned a lot here already!

May 13, 2014 at 9:05 am #13572Welcome Aquawrench, Staying out of the way and being self sufficient is very good start.
May 13, 2014 at 2:53 pm #13595Welcome on board! I think and EMP here in Asia where I am is pretty unlikely but preparing for an EMP is preparing for a primitive world and there can be many reasons why it comes to that.

May 14, 2014 at 1:49 am #13687Aquawrench – welcome brother! EMP sure is a possibility – I believe all preps should cover the loss of electricity and motorized machinery. Foreign troops would be a big mistake IMHO. Gun sales in excess of 34 mil last year alone…let’s hope the UN or other isn’t that stupid.

Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property... mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.
