Look at the list of investors!!! Former US Vice President Dick Cheney, Michael Steinhardt, Jacob Rothschild, and Rupert Murdoch. Well Rothschild is an owner of the Federal Reserve which prints the dollar and oil is what keeps the dollar valuable so this is very interesting since this oil reserve maybe so big that the dollar will not collapse because of this oil. But look at the four names, Murdoch owner of Fox which controls the news!!! Wow they have all the corners covered.
Potentially game-changing oil reserves discovered in IsraelOctober 8, 2015 at 2:59 pm #44338
Not a one is stupid or they wouldn’t be a rich as they are.
Say what you want about Cheney, all joking aside, he knows his business.
And it certainly puts a new spin on the whole US-Israel ties doesn’t it?
Then there’s the potential economic impact.
Very interesting indeed.October 8, 2015 at 3:03 pm #44339
Yes,Israel is going to have some powerful new friends. The White House might need to start being a little friendlier.October 8, 2015 at 3:53 pm #44342
I would rather the government be swapping spit with the Jews , than the Rag heads , I would love to see Saudi Arabia have to try to make it on her own . Considering the religious and ideological differences between the two peoples , we would have to choose one or the other , the balancing act trying to keep both would not last very long . Depending on how large the reserves are , it would be better for us long term , as the Israelis are more like us as a people than the Muslims are . I think they would be a far more loyal ally . As far as Cheney goes , they helped the Russians build their pipelines , then the Russians promptly kicked them out as soon as the contract expired lol . A deal is a deal , but we dont want your kind around here .October 8, 2015 at 8:11 pm #44346
This isn’t a potential changer, to Israel this is mega change. The other Mideast Oil producing countries would still be riding camels to work if they didn’t have oil. Low cost oil in your own country and under your own control is humongous.
On the other hand it will raise tensions in the Middle East and with Russia due to the increased competition for oil revenues. Israel’s neighbors will not like the increased prosperity that comes from the oil.October 8, 2015 at 10:37 pm #44348
They wont like it , but militarily they cant do much about it . Especially if we take Israel’s side . Saudi Arabia will be up S$it creek , they have money , but between the amount of foreigners in their country , that already outnumber Saudis , and no military to speak of , if we cut them off ……….they may not survive their neighbors .
