    I’ve followed this story elsewhere. A classic penny wise pound foolish scenario not dealing with maintenance during the years when the water level was very low.

    Part of what amazed me were people from Oroville who managed to run out of gas leaving town. I mean which part of the dam has serious issues being broadcast for days before the evacuation did they miss?

    This story is far from over. A lot of rain is on its way.

    Just goes to show how much they truly are out of touch with reality and common sense out there. Nancy P will take care of them! Between living below a poorly maintained dam and the entire state being covered with wood shake shingle roofs, along with nuclear plants sitting on fault lines, what could possibly go wrong?!? And darn! Right when the water crisis was being fixed, too. Don’tcha just hate it?
