    ebola is really not going to be that big a problem , now that we are aware of it in the country . I dont see it being that big an issue …………………we are not Mexico or Tanzania . Its just the media crisis d’jour . and not a very big one at that .

    As long as patient zero is dicovered rapidly opon arrival and not to many other people are infected it will be controled. However if for instance the women on the cruise ship was highly contagious and exposed 4000 people and it goes undetected, then it is entirely a different situation.

    I agree with 74. We can handle very low numbers of ebola patients but the threshold upon which the health care system would deteriorate to palliative care in tents set up in parking lots and fields is not very high…..a 3 digit # is my guess.

    Yes the 100’s would be a problem. If they keep the numbers low we will get out of this.
