North Korea experiencing severe Internet outagesDecember 22, 2014 at 9:04 pm #32670
So all four of their computers are down???
Seriously, I suspect that China gave us the nod to go ahead. A politically connected general from the PLA just wrote an oped piece saying that China is tired of cleaning up North Korea’s mess. It would not appear in the press, if the government did not condone it at the highest levels.
I wonder if China has told them to cool it. To take any attack form the US and do nothing. Now if they will listen is another question all together.December 22, 2014 at 9:20 pm #32672
Usually when your dealing with a belligerent person, less than a full take down only exacerbates the problem. This will surely incite more attacks. NK will definitely declare this as an act of war.December 22, 2014 at 11:43 pm #32684
What I see is that NK has a nuclear weapon and knows how to build them. Will they sell a small one to a terrorist group? That will be out problem with them.December 23, 2014 at 10:20 pm #32746

The fact that their leadership routinely executes dissidents by the hundreds for things like watching a movie is a good indication that they would be very willing to kill scores of the enemy.December 24, 2014 at 12:32 pm #32788
A new analysis of North Korea’s nuclear program by a group of top U.S. experts, led by David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security, estimates that North Korea could have enough material for 79 nuclear weapons by 2020. The analysis, part of a larger project called “North Korea’s Nuclear Futures” being run by the U.S.-Korea Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced and International Studies, has not been previously published. Albright said the North Korean government is ramping up its production of plutonium and highly enriched uranium, speeding toward an amount that would allow it to build enough nuclear weapons to rival other nuclear states including India, Pakistan and Israel.December 24, 2014 at 7:30 pm #32836
