Bushrat, what 1 micron system do you have for purification in grid-down? I have a Berkey, but I’m not really satisfied with that option.

Water is so important. I have a well with a hand pump so I do not need electric pump. I also store about 120 gallons right now and will up it to 200 gallons soon. I save bleach and have a gas range so am storing gas tanks for a year worth of cooking so I can boil the water too. I own some water filters that can filter 6,000 gallons of water each.

I am looking into building a rain water collector soon. The area were I live in Miami, Florida all the houses have pools so water will be there but will need to be filtered and bleached. So for me the filter and bleach are very important to store.
