    I dont have one of these , or plan on getting one , but the idea is appealing . This company made a cold weather garment for multi purpose . They are pretty proud of it , price wise , but I bet those of you with good sewing or quilting skills could copy it for a fraction of the price . Like I said , I like the idea , would be good to have in your car , a pack , etc .

    I seem to remember some european military sleeping bag that was similar.
    Can’t remember the country though.
    The bottum unzipped, and tied up out of the way, had a nice hood and decent sleeves.

    Will have to look around.

    Its a good idea , kind of reminds me of a modified poncho liner , but obviously heavier .

    Thanks for the post. Hill People make great equipment. I saw their stuff at the SHOT show last year and it s high quality. I have looked at this system and will be getting it for my daughter who lives in areas where it can get really cold.
