Having recently decided to expand the possibilities in the drinks category, especially if it really does fall Down.
Water can be made drinkable in various ways but many are expensive or labor intensive.

Looking to history a little research into how people used to make water palatable, one comes to the brewing of hard cider and mead’s.

Some digging beyond the brewing snobs and the simplicity of making them has really come out.
In fact some of the recipes for mead falls right into the peppers pantry, using honey, canned pie filling (of all things), or other “sugar” sources such as powdered honey.

    Well worth a look.
    More later.
