Knowledge about survival cannot be taken away from you.
To read, to learn and then go out and see if you can do it.

Well I am assuming this thread is about survival books.

The Death of Grass was a good novel about a pandemic that hits and two families in Europe traveling together to a bug out location that is open to only one of them and what they go through to get there.

Dare To Prepare is a good book that helps you with prepping, written by Holly Deyo. Full of good prepping information.

I have not had any personal experience with survival. Sometimes I feel like I am preparing for something that I have no idea what it is I am really preparing for. When I think of SHTF either I am a true pessimist or my thoughts of a true SHTF are just pretty morbid. I don’t see a situation that will be worth recovering from. JMO.

I try to learn a lot right now. It is just hard to know where to start. Since the typhoon Haiyan we know now how important it is to have extra food.
