So – Ed Schultz couldn’t make it on liberal US talk radio, and he went to RT. Figures, but he’s about 50 years late in that move. He’d have done great on Radio Moscow in the 60s. It must have pained him greatly to have to be polite to Professor Cohen when his precious Obama got criticized. Very interesting video.

Good. NATO should not be drawn into a war that Turkey starts. It’ll be interesting to see if Turkey changes its tune any.

I saw that NATO bailed on Turkey a few days ago. It’s really a green light for Russia to do wherever it wants to do in the Mideast. I expect a major attack by Iran on the Saudis with Russian backing. Europe and the USA will watch on the sidelines.

I wonder if we’d just sit back if the Saudis were attacked, however. We’ve trained quite a number of Saudi officers, including pilots, and they own a significant amount of US equipment (to include the planes the pilots fly). Plus, we’ve got assets there ourselves, as well as major presence in both Bahrain (5th Fleet) and Qatar. Qatar is physically connected to Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain is just a few miles away via a long bridge. Things could get VERY dicey in the event of that scenario. Possible? Scarily, yes. But I still think there are inhibiting factors.

Unfortunately we will find out. Both Russia and China are aligned with Iran. Before Obama has vacated the White House Iran, Russia and China will make their move for what ever they want.

74 hits upon a key point. Knowing that Obama will be out next January incentivizes Russia, China, Iran, etc to make their moves this year.

    WWIII.

Just a word about who it will involve, though it might make some folks uncomfortable – even angry – and my thoughts on the matter….

There’s no way to say this delicately or diplomatically, so I’m just going to say it:

Islam is the enemy of all mankind.

They have, for the last 1400 years, relentlessly attacked the West – actually, attacked anyone who ain’t them. Islam is responsible for at least 270 million violent deaths since its inception – making International Socialism (with their paltry 100 million) look like the poor cousin…

From the first moment a Muslim enters “Infidel” territory, he is at a State of War. At least mentally. It does not matter if you think you all are at war – he does.

If their numbers are small, they will keep their heads down and smile and “get along” – being the “good” Muslims the Western presstitutes love to hold up as an example. But, there’s a problem.

The problem is the formal Muslim policy of “Al Taqiyya” – officially sanctioned lying if that lying advances greater Islam.

Which means ALL Muslims are suspect. Which means, to me, there are no ‘good’ Muslims. Bald-faced lying to “infidels” for the sole purpose of deceiving us is their formal, sanctioned policy – not mine – so I don’t want to hear any Muslim crabbing and crying about hurt feelings…

Once their numbers grow, then starts the agitating, the brutal personal crimes against the hated “infidel”… then comes demonstrations, rioting, open street fights and, eventually, terrorist attacks and then open warfare.

    Anyone familiar with “Hama rules”?

Hama was a town in Syria and the Islamist militants who resided there were a serious thorn in Syria’s backside for a long time. Riots. Attacks. Kidnappings. All of the worst sort of garbage we’re still seeing today. Syria decided to get rid of the militants once and for all.

Hama rules means no rules… Fly the black flag – no prisoners.

Syria went in and just, well… you can read about it for yourself. Estimates vary, but it’s probably a safe bet to say that about 40,000 people died there. But, the insurrection was crushed. The Syrians had no more problems coming out of Hama…

In my mind, that is how you deal with Islam – you wipe it out. If it is allowed to fester under the fig leaf of “religious freedom”, then people – YOUR people – will die. When that festering goes septic, then the disease must be excised, or you risk losing everything.

The more dead Muslims, the better. They’ve attacked everyone – particularly the West – and liquidated literally hundreds of millions of innocent people in the name of their psychotic, militant ‘religion’… if WWIII formally comes and it starts in the Middle East? Well, good. If anyone deserves payback, it’s those guys.

This is going to end up being a fight to the death for all the marbles – either they go, or we do.

    Hama rules…

You’ll get no argument from me Malgus. Muslims do not assimilate, not here, not there, not anywhere. There aren’t many up here, just one community mostly up in Colchester, outside Burlington, folks who came in under various resettlement programs. They’re still in the smiling and being good neighbors phase but you know what is coming as evidenced by a big outcry over some small breakfast-lunch type restaurant that had a sign featuring their bacon. The restaurant changed their “offensive” sign which will just embolden them for the next demand, then the next and the next.

    If you give a mouse a cookie…

Acquiescing to their demands only encourages them – if the owner will fold like a lawn chair over a stupid sign, then what else can they force him to do? Now he’s shown weakness when he should have been dealing from a position of strength. The restaurant owner has the law on his side – he should act like it.

I would have responded by having Bacon Friday or Big Beautiful Bodacious Bacon Weekend – everything bacon you can think of… maybe even invent some stuff. Bacon covered in bacon bits in a bowl made of bacon with bacon on the side…

If the agitating rabble doesn’t like my Big Bodacious Bacon Weekend, well… they don’t have to eat there. Plenty of other restaurants they can patronize. Or they can start their own restaurant – how many times have we heard about the “Wonders of Diversity” or that “Diversity is our greatest strength”?

Let them prove it by starting their own. Which I will promptly ignore and never go to.

Good ol’ American tradition: turkey bacon. Picture speaks for itself.

TurkeyBacon … more appetizing than the turducken.

“If Russia attacked Turkey from the rear, would Greece help?” (old snickering question from my cold war, junior high school days)

Looks like Russia could eat Turkey’s bacon, and Commander Zero could only complain about the lack of interest in NATO. Mighty few heroes in that scene.

Oh, let me tell you! That turkey bacon is just a level or two beneath heaven. :-) (The photo wasn’t ours, but we used it as the model for ours last Thanksgiving. Heavenly!)

According to one version of history I’ve found, it wasn’t until 1300 that Turkey began to be anything OTHER than a Christian country. Just sayin’….

And regardless of my comments about our possible response if Iran attacked Saudi Arabia, I personally wouldn’t mind if we simply pulled out of the region and let them determine their own “destiny.” I have some sympathy for those living in Israel, since virtually none of them was there in the late 40s when we and Britain decreed that land suddenly belonged to Jewish people and the then-current inhabitants were unceremoniously kicked out. But they’ve chosen to live there despite the risks, and at least in the past have shown themselves quite able to defend themselves. But nukes? Who knows until it’s tried?

The thing about NATO , is that it is supposed to be a strictly DEFENSIVE organization in respect to the treaty itself . Apparently its under no obligation to support any member that acts as an aggressor . The Poles are also attempting to trigger a war because of ghosts from the past . They need a talking to as well .

Done deal. NATO has already warned Turkey they wouldn’t come to Turkey’s rescue if they provoke Russia.
