For years I’ve carried around a couple of Nalgene bottles, a great way to carry along a fair amount of water (iced tea).

My biggest complaint has been the lack of insulation, what is put in cold doesn’t stay cold.

A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled across a HydroFlask brand bottle. Literally, it was in our abandoned property.

Basically a sport bottle thermos, it has done nothing but impress me. Hot drinks put in are still scalding hot hours later, even being in a walk-in cooler for hours, cold drinks still cold overnight.
Stainless steel construction, with powder coating on this one, made in China (dang it), it retails less than the comparable Yeti product.

I would definitely spend my own money on one of these.
