All of our lives are so full of blessings if we but stop to realize it. Enjoy this day of giving thanks for them. Even though I have a family member gone to hospital late last night, I am grateful to live in a place (for now) where there is good medical care for them.
May you all be well and may blessings continue to flow through your lives.November 27, 2014 at 7:03 pm #30533November 27, 2014 at 7:11 pm #30535

Generally speaking it is just a time for families to gather and have a great feast, a showing a gratitude for all of our blessings.November 29, 2014 at 11:53 pm #30828
…and then many of the men crash on the couch Jay and watch football on television. Unh.
Jay, we usually gather (my family and close friends) and eat early and then go to the fire house, take the food we signed up to bring, and help serving community dinner and deliver thanksgiving dinner to local people that are ill, can’t get out to the fire house or are elderly or just signed up for delivery. This year we delivered a basket of ‘storm’ supplies too (working flashlight, candles, matches, space blanket, gallon of water etc) that everyone pitched into put together.November 30, 2014 at 1:42 am #30851
Happy belated turkey day to everyone.
Smoked a turkey for the outlaws, who brought along great grandma, and just took a couple days and got away from it all.
