What information is available about this paragraph?
“There is a stark disconnect between the government’s preparation to contain potential Ebola, going on around the country quietly, such as quarantine locations, requisitions for bio hazmat suits for the National Guard, and what people are being told publicly, not to worry about the spread of Ebola”
Here is the CDC quarantine station map:

What they’re buying or what else they are doing I have no idea, but I certainly hope they are lining up their ducks. What concerns me greatly is the hubris I see amongst our health officials who have taken an “it can’t spread here because we’re a rich 1st world country” attitude. They now acknowledge that there will be cases here given international travel (not to mention an open southern border), and then go on to say it can’t spread here because we’re so smart and well equipped. A little humility can go a long way, especially when dealing with something that they know so very little about.
They have come around on the contagion level and admit it is highly contagous and this article points out that you can be infected from a contaminated surface like a door knob.
They are not prepared for this. The contagion level maybe higher than what we are being told.
