So now the coroners report is out.
The head/spinal injury came from a bolt in the transport van.
While there are still questions about the stops by the transport van, this does tend to eliminate the original 6 officers from much of the suspicion.
And with the public and private videos that have been reviewed, as well as the other suspect in the van, this is looking like a bunch of rioting for nothing more than ignorance.May 1, 2015 at 2:15 pm #40570
Well this keeps happening. All police dept need to have video cameras on them and on the vans and cars so that this stops. This city has a 50% black police force so there must have been some in the six officers.
If we study all the cases that have happen in the last six years since O has been president we see a pattern which is that all have happen in left wing cities or states controlled by the left Democratic party. This shows very clear that the left policies do not work. Food stamps, welfare and no work is a policy for crime.
When I was growing up I looked up to the rich and looked at it as wow I can be that to if I do the right business. What happen? We need to go back to showing kids to have goals in life, to study, to work hard and you can have what you want. The left have killed this.May 1, 2015 at 2:30 pm #40572
Whirly, What does that mean, the bolt jumped out of the door and hit him? Maybe someone slamed the door on his head, or I supose he ran into the door on purpose to kill himself. How come we had to have a prisoner come out with what happened instead of the driver?May 1, 2015 at 3:32 pm #40573
The door proper, the prisoners can’t touch. And as one can see from the news pics is a normal door.
The bolts in question are the assembly and mounting bolts for the “cage”.
How does mm one hit their head on one?
Intentionally does it, banging and thrashing around.
Unintentionaly when the vehicle starts or stops fast.
The prisoner isn’t seat belted in and is allowed to move around the cage eben semi freely and falls against the bolt..
The prosecution is throwing the charges heavy as its almost impossible to add charges but easy to drop them.
Much will depend on the legality of the original arrest, if it flies, the worst they may get is criminally negligent homicide, for not belting him in.
Again, until all the facts are in, its difficult to get the full picture and sequence of events.May 22, 2015 at 11:08 am #41230
RNN) – All six Baltimore police officers charged for the death of Freddie Gray have been indicted by a grand jury.
Additionally, the state attorney said the charges to the officers – previously imposed on May 1 – have been modified to better reflect her office’s investigation.May 22, 2015 at 11:29 am #41231
Remember that the evidence presented by the prosecution to a grand jury is often highly skewed and the defense seldom shows its hand right off.
More than once a grand jury member has said, ‘if we had known that, we wouldn’t have charged……’
Remember your Miranda rights, “…..anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law…..”
It says nothing about being used in your defense.
Its why defense attorneys subpoena any and all evidence in a case, the prosecution has no legal reason to present anything detrimental to their case.May 22, 2015 at 3:09 pm #41237
This is all a part of a political campaign…. You don’t have to work at the Jiffy Lube or be a rocket surgeon to figure that out.
What this whole thing comes down to is this: Lady Justice has long ago been shackled along with the blinding. It is far easier to have a trial of public opinion than it is to translate legal proceedings to our our dumbed down general population.

Agreed, Mosby is trying to make her career on the bones of Gray and the 6.
