Along similar lines in a bigger scope .
Its time we stop being the world policeman , and demand other countries start pulling their weight , or fix their own problems . The last pic , to me is the most powerful , it breaks my heart and angers me at the same time .

I agree. If other countries aren’t willing to put their young adults in harms way to defend their countries, why should we sacrifice ours for them? What really ticks me off is when our Presidents (not just ‘Bams, his predecessors did it too) talk about joint effort with many other countries, it invariably means our troops are the ones doing the heavy lifting on the front lines and our taxpayers are picking up most of the tab. None of those hell holes are worth sacrificing our young. Let the multinational companies hire mercenaries to do their dirty work for them.May 16, 2015 at 1:19 am #41096

Back to Whirli’s post:
That was really incredible. I am truly amazed by people’s kindness at times considering how immoral our country has become. This was truly great.
