A better nation than this one was, at its prime, probably cannot be achieved, barring a celestial transplant into the human genetic structure.
Unfortunately, that celestial genetic structure would still have to compete with the genetic structure of Cain’s lineage that survived the flood, and therefore is now part of the entire human structure. Whether one believes either the transaction between Cain and Satan, or the flood from which only eight individuals emerged to repopulate the world (Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their three wives – Ham’s wife being a descendant of Cain), even just the metaphorical implications of those two stories is beyond eerie to contemplate given today’s world.
But enough of that. It belongs in the spiritual thread if it even belongs here at all.
