Good catch namelus. I think the theory can easily hold water, and it certainly is in line with my thinking that China is setting up to become THE world super-power. Whether they will be successful or not, there are too many signs that that’s exactly what their aim is. I suspect Russia will be sorry that, as the old Soviet Union, they didn’t oppose China much more than they did with their little border skirmishes, and prevent their ascendancy militarily, technologically, and financially (or even their population). I’ve expected that China would make much more blatant and major moves on our economy, and this certainly looks like a way (probably among several) that could be launched in the near future. Their accumulation of gold, to include strong encouragement of their population to own gold, is but one clue.
