If you are keen on storing complete proteins, storing an UNflavoured complete whey protein powder might be worth considering – most have at least a 5 year ‘life’ if not over heated – I’m still using a 2.5 year old bag that has sat on top of my fridge in my kitchen without any problems at all.

I had an odd thought today about canning venison and thought about adding an external fat to it when canning. Olive oil, coconut oil or even butter. Was going to look it up and see if anyone had done something like that.
I didn’t know that about the protein powder. I will have to look into it.
