Freedom: You are right on. I recognize for us mere mortals when your talking billions, that’s a big freaking number, but to a central banker that’s like petty cash. I would suspect that transactions like this happen more frequently than we imagine.
I worked for a Fortune 500 company that at the end of the day would empty the bank accounts every night and loan it out for several hours and put it back in for the start of business the next day. Cash management at it’s best.
