Here’s the thing with these “False Alarms” they are like a near miss, an accident inadvertently avoided by sheer luck. Eventually the accident will occur if corrective actions are not employed to eliminate the conditions presenting the hazard. What the CDC is doing is comparable to riding with a drunk driver at night in the rain, with bald tires, no brakes, and no seat belts. You might get home safely if you make the ride one time, but if you do it every day how many trips does it take before you have a wreak?
